I’m Katie Nugent, a childrenswear and knitwear designer with a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, brand heritage, and thoughtful product development. My background spans boutique labels and large-scale retailers, where I’ve delivered collections that balance storytelling with commercial strategy.

I’ve contributed to design teams at industry leaders like J.Crew, The Children’s Place, and most recently, Earthbound. At Earthbound, I contributed to private label development for the world’s largest retailer, managing high-volume assortments across multiple categories while maintaining brand consistency and market relevance. This experience strengthened my ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and deliver design solutions under complex business constraints.

With a foundation in technical design, construction, and print development, I bring a detail-oriented and collaborative mindset to every phase of the design process. I’m passionate about joining teams that value creative integrity, strong communication, and mentorship.
